Biography: Oyovwi Mega Obukohwo is a Dr of Neuroendocrinology and reproduction, Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT). He holds B.Sc degree in Biomedical Technology as one among the best graduating student of his class from the College of Health Sciences, Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. He also holds M.Sc degrees in Physiology with specialty in Reproduction and Fetal Developmental Programming from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He further proceed to Delta State University, were he obtained a PhD degree in Physiology. Dr Mega Obukohwo Oyovwi research focus is to develop research models relation to new therapeutic approach for both neuro-endocrine and reproductive anomalies. His research areas over the past 8 years have been on Neuroendocrinology, reproductive indices Neurotransmitter modulations, Cellular oxido-nitrergic stress and inflammatory Mechanisms as well as apoptotic-autophagic related factors. More interestingly, he a research analyst; he organized, analyze, interpret and present data sets from different experimental techniques to better understand underlying pathophysiological mechanistic approach of certain supplement and bioflavonoid compounds as related to the therapeutic regimen of Neuroendocrine reproductive diseases.. The main thrust of the line of investigation of Dr Mega. O Oyovwi has been to elucidate the patho-mechansims of neuroendocrine and reproductive pathology as well as the underlying mechanisms of action of therapeutic agents. Worthy of note, his scientific impact in the area of neuroendocrine and reproductive research is gaining recognition simultaneously. Dr Mega. O Oyovwi Ph.D work was noted for a scientific research value for a publication of articles from his Ph.D Thesis by the Postgraduate School of the Delta State University, Abraka. Also, at his young age, he is a recipient of several international awards/grant (SDG’s data grant, Tavel grant, Institutional Engagement grant, Outreach grant and Support and inclusion fund). Dr Mega. O Oyovwi is a Member/Physoc representative of the Physiological Society, UK as well as Member of the American Anatomist Association.
