Biography: Dr. Ogundele Olusola David, a researcher in Analytical and Industrial Chemistry with a strong commitment to developing scientific solutions that support sustainable energy and environmental health. My research cuts across biodiesel production, renewable energy systems, environmental analysis, and phytochemical investigations. I have worked extensively on producing biodiesel from microalgae, particularly Spirogyra species, using low cost, naturally sourced catalysts. This work includes optimization studies, fuel property evaluation, emission analysis, and the development of predictive models such as multiple linear regression models for estimating cetane numbers from fatty acid composition. Beyond renewable energy, I conduct research in medicinal and nutritional chemistry, focusing on the identification of bioactive compounds in medicinal plants and the computational assessment of their biochemical interactions. My studies extend to environmental chemistry, where I explore the removal of contaminants using biochar and other low cost materials. I have authored several peer reviewed publications in respected international journals, covering experimental methodology, analytical technique development, modeling, and environmental assessment. My research approach is built on practical application, quantitative analysis, and the use of computational tools to enhance experimental findings. I remain committed to producing knowledge that improves energy sustainability, supports environmental protection, and advances innovative chemical research.
